Permits, placement and who may haul in Montgomery

In the street: § 17-1 lets the Village Clerk permit temporary obstructions, with conditions on time, place, barricades and lights. § 6-36 allows construction materials in the street only along the job's own frontage, with a bond, and only if at least 18 ft of roadway stays clear. No fee was found. The driveway is simpler.
Demolition: a short-term building permit is required for demolitions (§ 6-15); the fee was not found. Wrecking work needs warnings, barricades and lights (§ 6-38).
