How a roll-off works
The truck backs in and rolls the container off onto the spot you agreed. You load it over the open top, keeping everything below the top edge — overfilled dumpsters cannot be safely transported. Spread the load evenly, front to back and side to side. Call when it is done; the truck comes back, loads it and hauls it.
Space is the thing to check before you book: about 60 feet of clear space for the truck, a flat, solid surface such as a driveway or pavement, and 25 feet of overhead clearance. Power lines, low tree branches, parked cars and bins are the usual obstacles.
What the flat price includes
Delivery, the standard 3 to 7 day rental, pickup and disposal up to the stated weight. Most rentals typically land between $350 and $750, depending on the size, the material, the delivery location, how long you keep it and the number of pickups or swaps.
